Aloha and welcome to our Kolea House! Our 2,200 sf back guest house is the perfect blend of island and modern living and is a short walk (less than 400 steps to be exact) to Lanikai Beach! Complete with two bedroom suites each with an ensuite bathroom and an optional third bedroom (for up to 6 guests total). Other features include a full size kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry room, and outdoor lanai. Our property also includes 2 off street parking spots, which you know is coveted if you have ever been to Lanikai. Prime location and tons of amenities!

First Bedroom

KAILUA

Our first bedroom is provided with a King bed and includes two full height wardrobe closets. It is simply furnished with a writing desk, mirror, decorative shelf and night stand. Each bedroom has a separate AC and ceiling fan. The ensuite bathroom is crisp and clean with bold white tile, double vanity and a spacious shower.

Our second bedroom is provided with a king bed and includes a dresser and two full height wardrobe closets. It is simply furnished with a glass writing desk, nightstands and bench. Each bedroom has a separate AC and ceiling fan. The ensuite bathroom is stunning with bold modern black tile and double vanities. Our second bathroom features a porcelain tub shower.

Our third bedroom is two twin xl beds on custom built white oak platforms. It is simply furnished with a nightstand, dresser and built in closets. Each bedroom has a separate AC and ceiling fan.

KITCHEN AND LIVING

We have a full kitchen stocked with the essentials, whether you choose to prepare a homecooked meal or heat up your favorite takeout. The kitchen is part of the suite’s open layout, flowing to the dining room and living room. Note that all bedrooms are located up stairs. Kitchen and living room amenities include:

ENTRY AND LAUNDRY

Our guest suite has a full size washer and dryer and we provide complementary laundry pods (All – Clear and Free). We aim to provide you with worry free accommodations. We do have a cleaning fee to ensure that our guest suite is cleaned thoroughly (check our reviews!). We don’t have chore lists or tasks that you need to do. We would love to meet you, but also totally respect your privacy. If you need anything or have any questions we are usually able to respond or answer questions within the hour. We strive to provide sustainable and organic products as much as possible. This home is equipped with solar water heating and photovoltaic electricity. Driveway is shared with the host, but our Kolea Home is completely separate. You may see the host on occasion as host parks in the garage connected to the shared driveway.

LANAI/OUTDOOR

Our guest suite is complete with a outdoor patio and large yard beautifully landscaped. We also have an outdoor shower with hot water to rinse off after the beach. We also provide a beach wagon with beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels for our guests!

GUEST ACCESS

Keyless (4-digit) guest specific pass code will be provided after booking prior to arrival. Please do not attempt to bring more guests than are on your reservation. Visitors are not allowed to stay the night and will be asked to leave. Please do not put us in that position.

BOOKING AND AVAILIBILITY

Please message Josh at 808-489-7115 for availability and quotes. It is usually best to provide your desired dates and length of stay and we can provide you with your best options around those dates. Our latest availability is shown on our homepage.

Cancellation Policy – Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.

Check-in after 4:00 PM, we will text your if our guest suite is available before 4:00 PM. You may drop off luggage after 1:00 PM.

Check-out before 11:00 AM, no need to clean before checkout but tidying up is appreciated. Please do not strip beds or start laundry as we will take care of all the linens.

  • Maximum number of guest specified during booking (4 guest for 2 bedroom bookings, up to 6 guests for 3 bedroom bookings)
